One vintage Singer 221 Featherweight sewing machine carry case lock. This is the most common style lock that was used on the type IV, V & VI cases c.1947 through the 1950s - The earlier locks used on the type III cases featured a beveled edge but are otherwise interchangeable. Good working condition with typical signs of age such as surface scratches / scuffs (often located on the button) similar to the example shown. Original, genuine part.
