This bobbin tension meter allows you to set the lower tension with confidence!
Recommended tension for the Singer Featherweight is 23 grams, tension on other older bobbin cases usually average 18-25 grams.
How is it used? Place the threaded bobbin within the bobbin case and attach the thread tail to the clip on the meter. To measure the tension, gently pull the bobbin case until the thread starts to unwind. Then make adjustments to the bobbin case tension screw as needed.
